Still have a lot of things to show you and I can hardly wait to exhibit this health book cover I have just finished and which rejoined its addressee. After numerous exchanges with Delphine, who had wanted a cover for her baby-to-come heath book, I made up the latter by all machine made embroidery, with a little bear ‘Teddy me to you’, keen to her heart as well as the baby’s name on it. A zipper closes it all. This artefact surely caused me trouble! I had to start all over again because my needle broke and caused a hole in the middle of the baby’s name. And I had almost finished the embroidery, grrrrr! I’m sure I was the only one to see the defect but I just couldn’t go on with it!

Then, as I tried to put on the zipper, I realized it was 5 cm shorter so… a quick stop at the haberdashery and the error was repaired!

The small Aurélien has an elder brother so I added a pair of mitt wipes as a present.

In order to complete the panoply of my baby boy I absolutely needed a bath wrap. It is very easy to make, quite practical. It is embroidered by the machine. I do not usually double the hood and I embroider directly on the terry towel but I find it to be more beautiful that way. Don’t you agree?

The pattern is a home made model, as well as the biais.

A new little boy !

Called Thibaut.

This boy was born this summer.

The birth present has been given just after the second day. This time, I was not in late (in fact, the present was ready long time before)

This set has been done with the same colors than his bedroom, green and brown.

All the pixie’s pieces have been fused then embroidered with a specific shiny sewing thread

The cover (100×70 cm) is lined with fleece.

And the teddy with small bell

The teddy model comes from the superb book of Anne Alletto, « Créenfantin » blog’s author. And the cover model has been also inspired by her.

Sweet memory of a little girl

Our « old » daughter (6 years old) has also been a « little » daughter. I’m showing you my first creations done with my super Pfaff sewing machine (a nice birthday present, 6 years old also !)

For these clothes, I used a pants pattern from the book « intemporels pour bébés », reduced in every ways, as it was really too big ! The final pattern had nothing to see with the initial one. I also added some draws on its sides, as a reminder of those above.

The top comes from the same book : I changed the front to add a « plastron » and false buttons. It can be closed in the back with snap fasteners.

Les tissus sont des cotons dont celui à petites étoiles utilisé dernièrement pour le survêtement de la demoiselle.

Looking for the Spring…

Here are our kids’s cousins for the baptism of the youngest one.

I proposed to make clothes for all of them, with the same trends of colors and fabrics. Nolan and his cousin (11 days older) are dressed in a cotton and linen reversible vest. The inside is made with a starry cotton for Nolan, and a cotton with peas for his cousin. The pants comes from an Ottobre pattern (with some modifications), with two pockets in the back with a reminder of the lining of jackets.

The youngest cousin wears an Ottobre pants and a vest similar tothe other boys, in striped cotton and peas (like his brother).

Eline wears a skirt in linen and cotton (Burda Occasional model ), a butterfly sleeve blouse and a bolero (home made pattern)

they were really beautiful, and I was also proud of them !

I like dinosaurs and the red color !

A small Camille is just born and his aunt wanted to offer a small colorful present. The theme was dinosaurs and the red color (mom’s favorite color)
A bath robe embroidered with his name and a small dino applied, a small picture and a large dino bag lined with polka dot.
