Eline is pretty, she is a (good old fashioned) real girl who loves beautiful fabrics, hearts and any glittering things !
Eline has long legs, wondering who she looks like (perhaps her father :-))… and a wasp waist. The problem is to find a sweatsuit in which she looks like something else than a bag. Then after several catastrophic fittings in shops, I decided to make her a customized sweatsuit. And a sweatsuit that pleases to her father who has a sweatsuit phobia, who knows why 🙂
The young lady was happy, her daddy also…and our kitten also !
Here are our kids’s cousins for the baptism of the youngest one.
I proposed to make clothes for all of them, with the same trends of colors and fabrics. Nolan and his cousin (11 days older) are dressed in a cotton and linen reversible vest. The inside is made with a starry cotton for Nolan, and a cotton with peas for his cousin. The pants comes from an Ottobre pattern (with some modifications), with two pockets in the back with a reminder of the lining of jackets.
The youngest cousin wears an Ottobre pants and a vest similar tothe other boys, in striped cotton and peas (like his brother).
Eline wears a skirt in linen and cotton (Burda Occasional model ), a butterfly sleeve blouse and a bolero (home made pattern)
they were really beautiful, and I was also proud of them !
I always try to create homemade gift for birthdays and those of my daughter’s friends in particular. This year at school, they have swimming lessons, so what better than a nice bag to put their swimming suits and towel. Fabrics and colors were chosen by my daughter according her friends’s tastes.
Of course, I made one for my daughter :
then for her friends :
Each bag is unique and personalized by a small homemade label with their first name.
Friends (and her mom !) love them !
At least, a last one is currently in process, I’ll show you soon.
